Get well wishes to our buddy, Rodney Ison, who has been having a few health problems lately.
Recently Lee and Wilma Pridemore had an anniversary and went to the Smoky Mountains for a couple days.
Roy Kenon and Billie Jean Smith came down from Ohio for a couple days and stayed with Lee and Wilma. Don and Coreen Pridemore and others went by to visit them while they were here.
Our Homemakers Club met last Tuesday for a seed and plant exchange. It was good to see everyone who attended and we missed those who weren’t able to attend.
Maggie Mae Back had recently had a birthday and little Audrey Pratt came with her Mama Danna Smith. Some of the members were going to Camp Nathanael in Knott County for a dinner and a meeting, and we are planning to go to Liberty, Ky., soon for a day out.
Joanne Adams had her sister, Betty, and Joanne’s daughters, Marsha and Michelle, visiting for a few days last week. They took in all the Rte. 7 South antique shops and also went to the Artisan Center in Hindman to look around. Hope they had a safe trip back to their homes and enjoyed all their visiting of family and friends here. Russell and Connie Blair fixed their supper on Saturday.
Have a good week and call or “Facebook” me if you have news to put it.
