Jeremiah native Den Adams dies

Den Adams, 70, of Paulding, Ohio, died November 29.

Born in Jeremiah to the late Arthur and Helmer Thompson Adams he was a brother of the late Shannon Adams, Geneva Adams, Reneva Hayes, and Anis Adams.

He was a charter member of Paulding EMS, a Paulding County Sheriff ’s Department deputy, and a lieutenant for the Paulding Policy Reserves, and was employed by Johns Manville.

He is survived by his wife, Judith A. Adams; two sons, Dennis Adams and wife Lana, and John Adams, all of Paulding, Oh.; a daughter, Tracy Roddy and husband Paul, of Paulding, Oh.; five brothers, Alfred Adams of Isom, Bill Adams and wife Louise of Jeremiah, Bud Adams and wife Christine of Paulding, Oh., and J.R. Adams and Tony Adams and wife Linda, all of Letcher; four sisters, Janet Hill and husband Roger of Hazard, Debbie Adams and husband Woody of Jeremiah, Maggie Adams of Somerset, and Tammy Adams of Jenkins; six grandchildren, Sheri Rhonehouse and husband Nate, Kelsey Kauser and husband Kyle, Maycee, Madison and Bailey Adams, and Jack Roddy; and four great-grandchildren, Ethan, Weston, and Landen Rhonehouse, and Charlotte Kauser.

Funeral services will be held December 7 in Paulding, Ohio. Burial will follow in Paulding Memorial Cemetery.
