Funeral services for Jewell Lee Sergent, 64, were held July 1 at the Bill Moore Branch Holiness Church at Kona. Burial was in the Bill Moore Branch Cemetery.
Born in Harlan County to the late Denver and Edna Mae Paul Morris, she died June 28 at her home in Cumberland.
She was the widow of Minton Vernon Sergent, and a sister of the late Sharon Lewis.
Mrs. Sergent was a member of the Bill Moore Branch Holiness Church.
Surviving are six sons, Ryan Sergent of Tazewell, Tenn., Vernon Sergent Jr. of Calhoun, Ga. Nicholas Sergent of Villanow, Ga., Robby Sergent of Milwaukee, Wis., Bryan Sergent of Cumberland, and Joey Sergent of Lexington; two daughters, Stacey Moore and Robin Cochran, both of Calhoun, Ga.; three brothers, Dorris Clark of Hernado, Fla., Wayne Morris of Somerset, and Allen Morris of Cumberland; six sisters, Eula Rasnick and Diana Neece, both of Kingsport, Tenn., Shelia Edwards of Cumberland, Betty Kilbourne of Eolia, Carmella Hendrickson of Somerset, and Margie White of Lancaster; and nine grandchildren.
