Jim Boggs dies at 68




Funeral services for Jim Boggs, 68, were held March 21 at Rockvine Baptist Church. Burial was in Green Acres Cemetery at Ermine.

A son of the late Dillard Boggs and Mary Ann Hendrix Boggs, he died March 18 at Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Hospital.

Surviving are three sons, Dillard Wade Boggs and wife Chrystal of Millstone, Chad Douglas Boggs and wife Angela of Russell Springs; and Jamie Travis Boggs of Rutledge, Tenn.; a brother, Eugene Boggs of Little Colley; two sisters, Barbara Collins of Smoot Creek and Betty Ann Mitchell of Craft’s Colley; six grandchildren, Jordan Gregory Amburgey, Mary Emileigh Boggs, Aaron Mitchell Boggs, Ethan Douglas Adams, Abigail Rose Boggs, and Braxton Travis Boggs; and a greatgrandson, Asher Ray Boggs.

Letcher Funeral Home of Whitesburg had charge of arrangements.
