Joanne Campbell, age 69 of Monroe, Mich., died Wednesday, November 29, at Magnum Care of Monroe, Mich. She had been in declining health for five years.
Born in Hamilton, Ohio, to the late Cecil and Carolyn Collins Campbell, she was also preceded in death by an infant daughter, Sherry Campbell.
She was employed as a bartender for over 25 years in Detroit, Mich., and had an extremely sweet and caring love for family and friends.
Surviving are four children, Brian Hooker and Shane Hooker, both of Jacksonville, Fla., Douglas Hooker and wife Mary of Taylor, Mich., and Brandy Campbell of Monroe, Mich.; a sister, Phyllis DeSloover and husband Larry of Dundee, Mich.; two brothers, Fred Campbell and wife Lucy of Malaga, N.J., and Tom Campbell and wife Lisa of Spring Hill, Fla.; and six grandchildren, John, Todd, Dazsa, Domonique, Madysen, and Amanda.
No visitation or services have been scheduled. A private family gathering in her memory will be held at a later date.
