Johnny Mack Trent, 68 of New Point, Ind., died October 15 in Decatur County Memorial Hospital in Greensburg, Ind.
Born on Cowan to the late Hager and Edna Thomas Trent, he was a brother of the late Rollin Trent, Harold Trent, Joan Hatton and Jacquline Trent.
He was graduated from Whitesburg High School in 1962, had served in the U.S. Air Force, and was retired from the Batesville Casket Company.
Surviving are his wife, Lynette Trent; two daughters, Sandy Weisner and husband Keith of Carmel, Ind., and Beverly Williams and husband Greg of New Point, Ind.; three sons, Tommy Trent and wife Wanda of Millhousen, Ind., Timmy Trent and wife Shelly of South Prairie, Wash., and Terry Trent of New Point, Ind.; two brothers, Tommy Trent of New Point, Ind., and David Trent of Whitesburg; and 11 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, Oct. 19 at New Point Christian Church in Indiana. Burial will be in Rossburg Cemetery.
