Letcher County Central JROTC Raider Team took a break from practice and participated in a community service project March 30.

They helped paint and do some other work at the Summit Community Children’s Church Building. It was a great experience to give back to our community and help any way we can.

The cadets who participated are Emily Collier, Molly Collins, Kody King, Jessika Moushon, Randy Shepherd, Chase McBee, Makayla House, Hannah Caudill, Dalton Werely, Taylor Hall, Jazmine Ramirez, Austin Adams, Alex Brock, Jason Adams, Caleb Johnson, Isaiah McCall, Joseph Gross, Ashley Haley, Madison Adams, and Zeik Hampton.

We would like to thank Tim Ison of the Summit Church for allowing us to help.

We hope everyone makes it out this Saturday to the 10,000 Easter egg hunt at Whitesburg Riverside Park; we’ll be there.
