An informational session on keeping children drug free will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on May 1 at the Harry M. Caudill Memorial Library in Whitesburg. Raising Resilient Children is for parents, grandparents, caregivers and teachers of children under the age of eight, and is sponsored by Letcher County United for Substance Abuse Prevention.
The presenter will be Michael Grammling, who will speak about risk and protective factors. Lunch will be provided.
