Funeral services for Kenneth Darrell Polly, 69, of Jenkins, were held December 1 at St. George’s Catholic Church in Jenkins.
A son of Anna Williams Polly and the late Lester Jay Polly, he was born in Jenkins. He died November 29 at Pikeville Medical Center.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Earnest Lee Polly and Billy Wayne Polly.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife, Diana Sexton Polly; two sons, Brian Darrell Polly and Shelly Walker, and Jason Lee Polly and Glenna Jodi Salyers, all of Jenkins; a daughter, Tammy Michelle Cook and husband Thomas of Seco; nine grandchildren, Richard Neal Polly, Nicholas Darrell Polly, Siara Polly, Rachel Michelle Cook, Gabrielle Kyle Polly, Thomas Lee Cook, Kaydance Nichole Polly, Chancellor Brian Polly and Brayden Metheney; a great-granddaughter, Kember Polly; five brothers, Donnie Harold Polly and wife Paulette of Arkansas, Garry Polly and wife Emma of Florida, Charlie Polly and wife Beth of Jenkins, and Add Polly and Donnie Gene Polly and wife Bobbie, all of Kona; and five sisters, Edna Tackett of Hemphill, Beulah ‘Pie’ Thomas and husband Dewey of Whitaker, Diana Johnson of Haymond, Dolly Fleming and husband Jimmy of Payne Gap, and Georgia Harron and husband Evan of Louisville.
