Hello everyone, hope you are all doing well.

This week has been busy and hectic for me, and went by so fast!

My brakes went out on my car for a week and I didn’t go off my hill. I didn’t need to; I went out the day before and bought up everything I needed and the time went by so fast.

My little beagle dog passed away. He was one of my husband Clyde’s hunting dogs and he was over 20 years old. He will be the last dog I ever had or ever will have. No more dogs for me!

Late happy anniversary to Bro. Robert Wagner and wife Esther on June 10. I can’t believe they were married that long. I knew them when they were very young. Time goes fast!

Late happy birthday to Kathy Adams on June 12. I knew her when she was very young and she’s still young to me. I’ve known her so long she’s like family.

I went to the graduation of Letcher County Central High School to see my greatgrandson Beau Christopher Hatton graduate. I was so proud of him. He was on the Honor Roll and on the Principal’s Distinguished List and one of the best looking ones and he also did the benediction. I never thought I would see a greatgrandchild graduate. I am so thankful!

My son Rob and his family will be coming home from their vacation this weekend and I’m sure they had a great time and I’ll get to hear about it.

My son Billy and all his family — there’s a lot of them and I know they will have a great time. They are a real close family. All my boys are and I’m so glad.

I got the obituary of my very good friend Anna Watkins from her daughter Jamie McPherson in Florida. I knew her when she was a small child. They were our neighbors then and have always been friends and kept in touch and will continue.

I visited with my sister Kathleen Brock and her husband. They still aren’t doing well. So many people are not doing well.

I haven’t heard how Buck Adams is doing. He has been so sick and his wife Ralpha is not doing very well either.

My grandson Chris Hatton and wife Sara and their family are leaving for church camp tomorrow. I know they will enjoy themselves, but I will miss them. It’s so quiet when they are gone. I miss hearing them having a good time. They have a lot of company.

My son Bill called me. He was bringing his granddaughter Ellie Mullins home from her ballgame. They have never lost a game. They must be really good! She loves it.

On June 19, my husband Clyde would have been 91 years old. He always loved his birthday and we all tried to make them good ones for him.

If any of you have any good news, give me a call. I promise not to say a word, but I may put it in the paper.

I’ve been hoping to hear from some of the people who came to the Marlowe reunion or that they will send me some of their pictures. I guess everyone has been busy. Seems like everyone is busy or like me, busy doing nothing. It has been so hot, I’ve been staying in.

I’ll be missing the Bible study at Dairy Queen on Wednesday. They are over for the summer. I had to miss a few. My friend Minerva Griffith loved going and so did I.

Well, I guess I will stop rambling on and get ready for church. Elzie Ray Hatton, I haven’t heard from you in a while. I hope you have just been busy with your garden and not sick.

May God bless all of you and try to be in church somewhere if you are able.
