LCC Drama Club to present ‘Grease’

“Grease” will be performed Saturday, May 23, at 7 p.m. and Sunday, May 24, at 2 p.m. by the Letcher County Central High School Drama Club in the school auditorium.

“Grease” is the group’s first musical endeavor and the cast will be accompanied by a full orchestra led by professional and accomplished musicians from across the state.

The cast will sing and dance to songs including “Summer Nights,” “Grease Lightning,” and “We Go Together.”

Danny Zuko, played by Charlie Banks, leads his TBirds of McKenzie Smith, Travis Stephens, Caleb Duty, Michael Watts and Brandon Jent. Callie Lee plays wholesome Sandy Dumbrowski. The Pink Ladies are led by Katie Caudill, Meagen Arrowood, Lindsey George, and Annessa Gibson.

All dances have been professionally choreographed by eastern Kentucky native Cody Anderson.
