An organizational meeting of the parent nomination/election committee of the Letcher County Central High School School Based Decision-Making (SBDM) Council will be held at 4 p.m. on April 25 in the LCCHS library.
Parents of LCC 9– 11 graders and parents of Letcher County 8th graders who are pre-enrolled at LCC for the 2013-14 school year are invited and encouraged to attend this meeting.
The purpose of the parent nomination/election committee is to facilitate the nomination of parent candidates for election to the LCCHS SBDM Council for the 2013-14 school year. This committee will conduct the 2013 parent election for the council.
The election date, time and place will be determined by the parent election/nomination committee and announced during the meeting on April 25. The parents elected will serve from July 1, 2013 until June 30, 2014.
