The Cougars visited Jackson City High School in Breathitt County two nights later and came home 5 to 3 winners after Dollarhyde scored four goals and Bentley added one goal.

The boys’ team is coached by Billy K. Adams and Dakota Hall.

Coach Betty Acevedo’s LCC girls’ team won its opener, 1 to 0, over Harlan County.
