Leanza Mullins, 84, of Jenkins, died May 29 at Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Hospital.
A daughter of the late Joe and Nancy Short, she was born at Hellier. She was the widow of Cody Thomas Mullins, the mother of the late Rodger Lee Mullins and Johnny Ray Mullins, and a grandmother of the late Scott Andrew Mullins, Phyllis Mullins, Brandy Mullins, Diane Mullins, and Christina Crace.
She was a member of Pine Chapel Freewill Baptist Church, the Order of the Eastern Star, and the White Shrine, and worked in the housekeeping department at Jenkins Community Hospital for 21 years.
Surviving are three daughters, Shirlene Wood and husband Bill of Ohio, Josephine Crase of Jenkins, and Sheila Adams and husband Jim of Isom; three sons, Dairl Mullins and wife Diana of Arizona, Bobby Mullins and wife Linda, and Wendell Mullins and wife Sherry, all of Jenkins; 22 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held June 1. Burial was in the Jenkins- Payne Gap Cemetery.
