Lenville Hatton succumbs at 69

Lenville ‘Buddy’ Hatton, 69, of Whitesburg, died May 8 at Hospice of Hazard.

Surviving are his wife, Billie Caudill Hatton; two daughters, Billie Jo Hatton of Tampa, Fla., and Diana Sergent of Thornton; a son, Derand Hatton of Jenkins; two sisters, Betty Johnson of Tiffin, Oh., and Carol Baker of Isom; three half-sisters, Bertha Eldridge of Blackey, Elizabeth Hatton of Whitesburg, and Jessica Bolling of Cornettsville; a brother, Bill Hatton of Richmond; a half-brother, Jesse Hatton of Indiana; and six grandchildren.

Private services will be held at a later date.
