The summer reading program is open to young people, preschool through young adults, with programs, prize drawings, story hours, and a reading club. Families are invited to join the read-to portion of the program.

The program will begin June 10 and is scheduled for:

The kickoff event of the summer reading program will be “The Legend of Little Wolf”, a puppet show presented by the Madcap Puppets of Cincinnati, Ohio. The performance will take place at 6:30 p.m., June 10, at the Harry M. Caudill Memorial Library and is intended for the whole family. The main library is also sponsoring a Scholastic Book fair until June 13 so children may purchase and experience owning their own books. Partial revenues of sales will benefit the library.

Registration for the summer reading program begins today (Wednesday). Free meals will be served to all children attending the program and will be provided by LKLP. For more information, call the libraries.
