LINVILLE O’HAIR

Linville O’Hair, 74, died August 23 at his home at Clay City.

A son of the late Taylor and Elsie Barnett O’Hair, he was the father of the late John Taylor O’Hair, and a brother of the late Jerry Shelton O’Hair.

He enjoyed fishing, gardening, building houses, and spending time with his family.

Surviving him are a companion, Carla Jo Kennedy of Clay County; two sons, Robert O’Hair of Swaunee, Ga., and Linville Thomas O’Hair of Beattyville; a stepson, Marshall Wayne Howard; a daughter, Libby Jo Bowman of Beattyville; two brothers, Andrew Rankin O’Hair of Clay City, and Michael Taylor O’Hair of Estill County; a foster brother, Andrew Ingram; two sisters, Stella Victoria Twiss of Clay City, and Janie Louise Mondell of Houston, Tex.; and six grandchildren.

Funeral services were held September 29 at Ralph Banks Ministries in Clay City. Burial was in the West Bent Cemetery in Powell County.
