To the Editor:
I know this is a shot in the dark, but I have to try.
My mom is the world’s best mother. She has had her trials in life but has kept her faith in others and has been a servant to others. She is ill, and more than anything, she would like to be able to look at her 1952 Stuart Robinson School yearbook.
Her father accidently burned hers up when she was young. She has talked about her yearbook and memories for as long as I can remember.
If I could find and surprise her with one, or a photocopy of one, I am certain it would mean the world to her.
Ironically, the school has no copy as there was a fire there years ago. I would be happy to pay as I would be buying precious memories for her.
My mom’s name in 1952 was Mona Spencer. Her mom was Malta Cornett Spencer. She was a postmistress and general store operator.
Mom’s dad was Arlie Spencer, a coal miner. Her sister was Jan, and brother Arlie Junior.
If anyone could help me I would be so very grateful and thankful to then.
