Loraine Brown Perry, 84, died October 8 at Middlesboro Appalachian Regional Hospital.
A daughter of the late Gid and Lora Brown, she was the widow of Dan Perry.
She had worked more than 20 years at the Royal Crown Cola Bottling Company at Ermine, and had lived in the Tri-State Health and Rehab Center in Harrogate, Tenn., for the past five years.
Surviving are two daughters, Danola Gibson, Roanoke, Va., and Brenda Hurt and husband Danny, Thornton; two sons, Roger Perry and wife Joyce, Nicholasville, and Carl Perry and wife Lisa, Speedwell, Tenn.; four granddaughters, Margaret Gibson Norton, Carla Perry Johnson, Michelle Gibson Whitmer, and Vanessa Hurt Vanover; four grandsons, Chad Perry, Scott Perry, Erich Hurt, and Adam Perry; eight great-grandchildren, Jonathan, Matthew and Aaron Perry, Blaine, Van and Shelby Whitmer, Ashley Vanover and Isabella Norton; three brothers, Gid Brown, Jr., Lester Brown and Forester Brown; three sisters, Claudine, Wilma Jean and Mona Sue; and two brothers-in-law, Frank Perry and Roy Perry.
Funeral services were held yesterday (Tuesday) at Letcher Funeral Home in Whitesburg. Burial was in Green Acres Cemetery at Ermine.
