Louvenia Adams, 95, died November 5 at her home at Cram Creek.
Born in London, she was a daughter of the late Pat Sam and Irene Church Phillips, and the widow of Gordon Bennett Adams.
She was the mother of the late James Edward Adams, Manual Lee Adams, Ruby Gay Lawson and Myrtle Jean Adams, and a grandmother of the late Kathy Adams and Betty Adams.
She was a sister of the late Esker Phillips, Every Phillips and Carrie Purgeon, and a member of the Cram Creek Pentecostal Church at Mayking.
Surviving are three daughters, Rebecca Kincer of Louisville, and Juanita Wright and Wilma Wright, both of Mayking; a niece, Irene McCoy; 17 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, and 21 great-greatgrandchildren.
Funeral services were held yesterday, November 8, at Everidge Funeral Home in Whitesburg. Burial was in Webb Cemetery at Mayking.
