LYNN SCHUSTER CLEMENTS

Lynn Schuster Clements, 70, died April 11 in Savannah, Ga.

She was a University of Kentucky Fellow, as were her three sons, and a Henry Stites Barker Fellow.

Mrs. Clements was a member of the UK Women and Philanthropy, a lifetime member and volunteer of both national and local chapters of the UK Alumni Association, the Keeneland Pickers Band, UK Masters Swim Team, the Blue Grass Dental Auxiliary, and a member of the Lexington Woman’s Club and Spindletop Hall, where she assisted with the swim program.

She loved travel, nature, animals, and hosting friends for parties, particularly Kentucky Derby parties.

Surviving are her husband of 50 years, Dr. John H. Clements DMD; three sons, David Clements and wife Kara, Charley Clements and wife Christen, and Hunt Clements; and four grandchildren Caroline, Kelsey, Cameron, and Chase.

Funeral services were held April 16 at Christ Church Anglican – Savannah.

Memorial services will be held at the Lexington Cemetery on Saturday, May 21 at noon, officiated by the Dean of Christ Church Cathedral. Donations in lieu of flowers can be sent to the John H. Schuster Memorial Scholarship at the UK Gift Receiving Office at 343 Waller Ave, Suite 303, Lexington, KY 40504.
