Hailey Stamper said I didn’t put her name in the paper at her grandma Thelma’s 82nd birthday party. I could have left it out, so I am making it up to her. I want everyone to know Hailey Stamper was there.
My granddaughter Maci Ison came and saw me Saturday. I baked her a birthday cake and had her bunches of presents. She and I had us a great time together. She blew out her candles twice. She’s a sweet baby. We had a wonderful time.
One of the neighborhood foxes got run over on the road by the chain link fence. It looked like a baby.
Sunday, June 17, Wendy and Jake Lucas and myself went to church with my son Danny and Lacey and my grandbaby Maci at the Summit Community Church in Hazard at the Hal Rogers Forum. They had a great service. Afterward they had hot dogs. My daughterin law Lacey made the best homemade chili. She is a great cook.
Preacher Mark and Danny handed out tickets for a Father’s Day drawing. Then they had a classic car show called Cruisin’ the Summit. Maci Ison and her cousin Eric Collier went for a walk with me. We all had a great time.
Betty Jo Taylor has been in the hospital but is home and better.
Sue Lowe’s granddaughter Victoria is visiting from Pennsylvania.
Harvest Baptist Church is having its monthly potluck dinner after church this Sunday in the fellowship hall. Everyone is invited.
Summit Church in Hazard is having free movie night at Perry County Park Friday night, June 22, at 8:30 p.m. Bring your own seating. Looking forward to seeing you all there.
