Mae H. Boggs, 98, died Monday, July 13, at her home on Kingscreek.
A daughter of the late Kelly and Jane Hall Hogg, she was the widow of Harrison Boggs.
Surviving are four sons, Kelly D. Boggs of Louisville, Harrison K. Boggs and wife Vickey, Kendall Bill Boggs and wife Judy, and Timothy Wade Boggs and wife Melinda of Lexington; five daughters, Bokey Boggs Hogan of White Pine, Tenn., Sonja Lynn Kohl and Becky Boggs Mohn, both of Shelbyville, and Eula Mae Brown and husband Randy, and Deanie Pack, all of Cowan; a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and greatgreat grandchildren; and a caregiver whom she thought of as a son, John Cornett.
Mrs. Boggs was preceded in death by a son, Tommy Carrol, and sons-in-law, James Mohn, Bruce Kohl, E.J. Hogan, and Rodney Pack.
Graveside services for Mrs. Boggs were held July 16 at the Boggs Cemetery at Kingscreek.
Letcher Funeral Home of Whitesburg had charge of arrangements.
