Kentucky State Police (KSP) arrested a 37-yearold Bonnieville, Ky., man November 1, after he was found driving with a dead woman in the passenger seat of his car.
The news station says the arrest citation reports Lebanon Junction Police stopped Jason R. Davis, who was driving his silver 2003 Ford Taurus in the area, around 1 a.m. on Saturday.
Police say Davis told an officer the woman in the passenger seat his his vehicle was dead, and allegedly admitted the two of them had met in Larue County and used methamphetamine just minutes before the victim became violently ill. Police say they found two syringes in the vehicle.
The arrest citation says Davis did not seek medical treatment for the female and she eventually died, WDRB News reports. Police claim Davis was aware that the woman was dead for several hours before he was stopped by Lebanon Junction Police.
KSP arrested Davis, charging him with seconddegree manslaughter, abuse of a corpse, tampering with physical evidence, failure to report a death of a person and possession of drug paraphernalia.
