Man held after filling prescription in Jenkins

A 57-year-old Pikeville man was arrested last week after he allegedly forged a prescription for narcotics and had it filled at a Jenkins pharmacy.

Bobby Damron was charged with criminal possession of a forged prescription on March 13. Jenkins Police Chief Jim Stephens said Damron had a prescription bottle filled with 120 Lortab pills.

Stephens said he searched Damron’s vehicle and found other two pill bottles from pharmacies in Pike County, each of which contained 120 Lortab pills.

Stephens said police seized Damron’s vehicle along with the pills and bottles.
