Go to our Facebook page for announcements and pictures posted after each event at www.facebook.com/ pages/ Hemphill- Community-Center.

The Breakfast with Santa is our annual community Christmas event. It was well attended and a real sweet time as always. We had visitors from far and wide. Some traveled from out of state and northern Kentucky to eat a good breakfast and have fellowship. Thanks to all the volunteers who work tirelessly to help out. Thanks also to Santa. He always works tirelessly.

We will be going caroling on Monday, Dec. 18. We will meet at the center at 2 p.m. for a rehearsal of songs before we go out to sing for some folks who are sick and shut in. If you want to sing with us please meet us at the center. We will to carpool to the homes we plan to visit. We will also sing in Whitesburg that evening. The caroling will take the place of our regular monthly shape note singing as it falls on Christmas Eve. We will resume our regular fourth Sunday singing in January 2018.
