Many mark birthdays


Happy birthday to my husband Lee Roy, it was on Dec. 25.

My sympathy to the family of Robert (Rob) Campbell of Letcher who passed away on Dec. 18. He has been sick for awhile now. He was 87 years old.

Tara Couch of Linefork had to be taken to the Whitesburg ARH on Tuesday evening. She has been in the hospital recently with vomiting and she started again this time she was vomiting up blood. They said she was in ICU for about a week came home and was taken back again on Thursday and admitted again.

She is having such a hard time right now she needs everyone’s prayers.

Opal Jent of Carcassonne was in the Whitesburg ARH for a few days recently. She was having some chest pains. She is home and doing better.

Happy birthday to Ella Mae Smith of Carcassonne, it was on Dec. 15. Kay Hampton of London the 21st; Joan Johnson of Woodrock was on the 14th; Tina Caudill of Carcassonne was on Dec. 18th; Donna Griffie of Letcher on the 20th; Wallace Bolling Jr. of Letcher, the 22nd; Whitney Haynes of Crases Branch, the 25th; Lois Smith of Blackey, the 25th; and her husband Jamey Smith on the 23rd; Joni Dixon of Elk Creek also the 25th.

Craig Frazier his wife Tosh and son Jake came in from Florida for Christmas to visit with his mother, Ann Frazier of Knott County. We all got together at her home over the weekend and had a big dinner. It was nice seeing everyone, and there is nothing like Annie Granny’s food.

Happy birthday to Laura Caudill of Los Angeles, Calif., on Dec. 28. She is a daughter of Jerry and Vondy Caudill of Elk Creek.

Happy anniversary to Greg and Della Caudill of Carcassonne. It was their 28th on Dec. 22.

My sympathy to the family of Jack Johnson, who passed away on the 22nd. Jack use to live at Letcher, and I’m not sure, but I heard he was living at Neon.

Happy birthday to Debbie Caudill Bowling of Bull Creek, Woody Adams of Blair Branch, and Kevin Breeding of Isom. They are all celebrating on Dec. 23rd.

My mother Jean Blair had to call an ambulance for my dad, Peanut last Saturday night. His sugar was so low he couldn’t wake up. They gave him glucose and brought his sugar back up and didn’t have to take him thankfully. It sure scared us.
