Margie Watts is buried at Hallie




Margie Caudill Watts, 61, died April 1 at her home at Hallie after a long illness.

She was a daughter of Georgia Caudill and the late Kermit Caudill.

Mrs. Watts retired last year from the Letcher County Board of Education after 38 years. She was a member of the Linefork Homemakers Club.

Surviving in addition to her mother are her husband, Robert Watts; a sister, Martha, and two brothers, Will and Mike, all of Hallie; five nephews, Willard, Tim, Terry, Eric, and Dennis; five nieces, Betsy, Missy, Renae, Angie, and Melinda; six great-nephews, Austin, Kaden, Colby, Jackson, Sawyer, and Willard Allen; and four great-nieces, Beth, Savanna, Felicia, and Courtney.

Funeral services were held April 3 at the Cedar Grove Church. Burial was in the James Griffith Cemetery at Hallie.

Letcher Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
