Mary Eva Craft Spicer, 101, died June 21 at Letcher Manor Nursing Home in Whitesburg.
Born in Norton, Va., to the late Grant and Rachel Craft, she was the widow of Obie L. Spicer, and had lived for many years at Bottom Fork.
She was a grandmother of the late Denise Spartman, and a sister of the late Nathaniel Craft, Curtis Craft, Dickson Craft, her twin Ezra Craft, Tressie Allen and Virginia Abromavich.
She was a member of Mayking Baptist Church, Eastern Star Pine Mountain Chapter #247, and the first graduating class of Fleming- Neon High School.
Surviving are two sons, John Spicer and wife Jo of Neon, and Obie Spicer and wife Linda of Lancaster; a daughter, Tressie Conley of Neon; a sister, Ruby Gilliam of Minerva, Oh.; eight grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and a number of great-greatgrandchildren and greatgreat great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held June 24, at Everidge Funeral Home in Whitesburg. Burial was in Green Acres Cemetery at Ermine.
