Mary Jane Tyree Adams, 90, died November 15 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Center in Hazard.
Born at Dry Fork, she was a daughter of the late Sam Henry and Nancy Hawkins Tyree. She was the widow of Alvin Adams and was later married to the late Burnice Kincer.
She was a member of the Pentecostal Church, and enjoyed gardening, fishing, quilting and spending time with her family.
Funeral services were held November 17 in Whitesburg. Burial was in the Sam Henry Tyree Cemetery at Dry Fork.
Surviving are two daughters, Mary Linda Holbrook and husband Merrill of Dry Fork and Nancy Scott of North Carolina; and 16 grandchildren, 34 greatgrandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were a son, Lee “Leebo” Gibson; two daughters, Mildred Lane Blake and Milos Bare; seven brothers, Garfield, Morris, Frank, Jody, John, Ira and Christopher; and three sisters, Martha Victoria and Vera Lee.
