Max Hall was a pitcher this summer for the Bluegrass Stars baseball team, based in Lexington. During the week of July 20-27, the Stars traveled to Panama City Beach, Fla., to compete in the 18U Grand Slam World Series. The Stars won eight of nine games to become the 2014 18U Grand Slam World Series champions.
The Bluegrass Stars competed in seven tournaments this summer in Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, Ohio, and Florida. The team won five of those seven tournaments.
Hall is a recently graduated pitcher for Letcher County Central High School and will be pitching this spring for the Union College Bulldogs.
