Michael Alan Hampton, 57, of Whitesburg, died July 20 at Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Hospital.
A son of the late James and Aileen Bentley Hampton, he was born in Toledo, Ohio. He was a brother of the late Jimmy Hampton.
Surviving are his wife, Martha Ann ‘ Blondie’ Keel Hampton; two sons, Mickey Alan Hampton and Mitchell Andrew Hampton, both of Paris; a daughter, Elizabeth Caudill, Blackey; three sisters, Linda Sexton, Vivian Hall and Bonita Collier, all of Millstone; and four grandchildren, Dylan Hampton, Barbourville; Peyton Andrew Hampton and Keelie Ruth Hampton, both of Port Richey, Fla., and Tekiah Caudill, Blackey.
Funeral services were held July 22 at Everidge Funeral Home. Burial was in the Haven of Rest Cemetery at Mayking.
