Michael Lee Adams, 74, of Lexington, died, November 14.
Born in Whitesburg, he was the son of the late Lee and Hazel Boggs Adams. He was a graduate of Whitesburg High School and attended Millersburg Military Institute and Georgetown College. He was the owner of Kentucky Parts, Inc. and A/C Development Company and later was a commercial real estate agent employed by Haymaker/ Bean and The Gibson Company.
He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church where he was a deacon, Sunday school teacher, and founder of the Calvary Christmas Project.
He had a gregarious personality, never meeting a stranger and loved being with family and friends. He enjoyed socializing, golf and travel.
Surviving are his wife, Judy Combs Adams; three daughters, Tami Ross and husband Mike, Missy Sanders and husband David, and Kara Gilbert and husband James; 10 grandchildren, Andrew Ross, Brennen, Bailey, and Brilee Sanders, Patton, Courtland, Auden, Embry, Ellie, and Ingram Gilbert; two brothers, Mark Adams and wife Denise, Walton, and Tim Adams, Phoenix, Ariz.
Funeral services were held November 18 at Calvary Baptist Church.
