Hello everyone! What a week. I have been having problems with my leg and hip all week. I finally went to the doctor and the sciatic nerve is acting up.
My husband’s potassium is up just a little and our son Mike was in the hospital. He overdid it helping out in the hayfield, became dehydrated, and had a heat stroke. Now he’s allergic to hay.
We are all recuperating. I was more worried about Mike. He loves to help people, he just needs to slow down.
Late happy late birthdays to David Tyler on Aug 12, who turned 60 — he owns Mountain Vendors Mall — and Logan Dollarhidew was 17 on Aug. 9.
Birthdays this week are: Tracy Miles Wilson, Charles Hammonds, Jason Dobson and Tiffany Maggard (23), all on Aug. 19; Doug Sturgill, Aug. 20, will be 60; Beth Grindstaff, not sure what date.
Happy birthday to all of them, and may this be their best ever.
Well, school is back in full swing. Some kids are glad, and some think it should be over with already, especially the first graders who enjoyed their first three days, but are ready for it to be over.
I almost want to tell them that this is the first day for the next 12 years, or a lifetime for some. Ha, ha!
Not much going on in the ‘hood this week. Sorry to make this short, but my mind is blank.
So until next time, have a good week, enjoy the rain, and attend the church of your choice.
Keep someone in prayer, and may God bless.
