Minnie Ella Hall, 91, of New Albany, Ind., died February 1, at her home surrounded by her children
Born in Mayking to the late J. Dishman Fields and Susie Jane Polly Fields, she was the widow of John Daniel Hall.
Mrs. Hall was retired from General Electric Company, and was a member of New Testament Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, John Daniel Hall, Jr., and three brothers, Rex Fields, John Dishmond Fields, and Lon Edward Fields.
Surviving are four children, Helen Colleen Cohn of Prospect, Camella Sue Verwys and husband Franklin and Billy Ralph Hall and wife Barbara, all of Winter Haven, Fla., and Cleta June Condon and husband Joe of New Albany, Ind.; eight grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandson.
Mrs. Hall was the matriarch of the family who always hosted holidays and birthday celebrations. Her cooking was beloved by all the family and her home was the meeting place for all family events up to the end of her life.
Funeral services were held February 3 in New Albany, Ind. Entombment was at Kraft Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany Ind.
