Kacey Mariah Lefevers of Middlesboro, was crowned Miss Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College Feb. 7 at the pageant held at Letcher County Central High School. She also won the talent award. Nine students contended for the title and were judged on composure, talent, an on-stage question, and an interview with judges. The winner received a $1,000 scholarship to SKCTC and will represent the college at the Mountain Laurel Festival in May in Pineville. The first runner-up was Emily Brooke Landis of Harlan, and second runner-up and Miss Congeniality was Christie Nicole Banks of Whitesburg. Pictured are (left to right) Master of Ceremonies Carlton W.
