Randy Blair is challenging Letcher County Property Valuation Administrator (PVA) Randy Hall for his seat again. But this time around Blair is running on the Democrat ticket.
On Nov. 2, 2010, Hall won the office by 1,896 votes. As a Republican, Blair garnered
3,003 votes and Hall, a Democrat, received 4,899 votes.
Blair filed his papers in the Letcher County Court Clerk’s Office to run for PVA on Dec. 30 and Hall filed his papers on Jan. 3.
Democrat Sherry Sexton is running for magistrate in District Two.
Incumbent District Four Constable Harvey Campbell, a Democrat, has filed papers as well as challenger Chris Sexton, a Democrat.
Republican D.L. Hammonds has filed to run for sheriff.
