DOROTHY HALL POTTER

Dorothy Hall Potter, 87, died August 22 at her home in Madison, Ohio.

Born in Letcher County, she was the daughter of the late Morgan and Lara Jane Hall. She also preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Jr. Potter; her stepmother, Grace Belcher Hall; two brothers, Acie Hall and Dave Hall; a sister-in-law, Pauline Goff Hall; a son, Tyrone Potter; and a grandson, Michael Potter.

Surviving are two brothers, Ellis Hall and Don Hall and wife Sally, all of Ohio; sister-in-law, Linda Hall of Kentucky; two children, William R. Potter of Indiana, and Nettie A. Wood and husband Franklin of Ohio; a daughter-in-law, Sherrie Potter of South Carolina; grandchildren, Timothy Potter and Jennifer Honeycutt and husband Trey, all of South Carolina; Kimberly Lee and husband Christopher, Michelle Watt, Laura Bosch and husband Matthiue of Texas; Chris Wood and wife Angela and Sarah Wood, all of Ohio; William Potter Jr. and wife Katie of Alaska; Christine Wolfe and husband Gerald of Indiana; and Jonathan Potter and wife Aidriane, Tabitha Potter and Matthew Potter all of South Carolina. She is also survived by a number of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held August 29 in Berea, Ky. Burial will be at Berea Cemetery.
