Nannie Cook, 93, of Kona, died December 9 at the Genesis Homestead in Lancaster, Ohio.
Born at Sandlick, to the late Shade and Elsie Combs Adams, she was the widow of Marion Cook.
She was the mother of the late Billie Cook, Charlotte Cook and Eddie Cook, and a grandmother of the late Richard Hall. She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Isabella, Eliza, and Georgie, and two brothers, Tanny and Hillard.
Surviving are two daughters, Emma Jean Reed and husband Jimmy, of Elkhart, Ind., and Linda Climer and husband William, of Lancaster, Oh.; two sons, Roy Cook and wife Linda of Louisville, and Johnny Cook and wife Denica, of Wellston, Oh.; seven grandchildren, Doug, Tammy, Melvin, Lisa, Brian, Jason and Jonathan; 14 greatgrandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; a nephew, Fred Adams and wife Caldonia; and friends Francine Potter and husband Gary of Kona.
Funeral services were held December 12 at Carty Funeral Home in Neon. Burial was in Haven of Rest Cemetery in Mayking.
