Funeral services for Nanye White Lamont, 76, were held April 11 at the Neon First Church of God. Burial was in Green Acres Memorial Park at Ermine.
Born in Letcher County to the late Charlie and Maggie Holbrook White, she died April 6 in Louisville. She was a member of the Neon First Church of God, had served on the W.C.G. Committee, and was retired from Bell South after 30 years. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers.
She was the mother-inlaw of the late Bob Martini, and a sister of the late Nolan White, Ralph White and Wanda White.
Surviving are her husband, Charlie T. Lamont of Kona; four sons, Richard C. Salyer and Michael R. Salyer, both of Louisville, Bill Lamont and wife Lisa of Jasper, Ind., and Duane Lamont and wife Marilyn of Owenton; four daughters, Debbie Reinert and Denise Lamont, both of Louisville, Debbie Martini of Cocoa, Fla., and Deana Wyngowski and husband Joe of Belchertown, Mass.; a brother, Roland White and wife Lana of Kona; a sister, Ruby Hall and husband Ike of Pikeville; 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Everidge Funeral Home of Whitesburg had charge of arrangements.
