Nella Caudill buried at Red Star

Funeral services for Nella Faye Caudill, 82, of Red Star, were held June 20 at Mt. Olivet Old Regular Baptist Church. Burial was in Caudill Cemetery at Red Star.

A daughter of the late James Caudill and Lovell Brown Back, she died June 17 at Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Hospital.

She was a grandmother of the late Jamie Lee Caudill, and a sister of the late Billly Ray Caudill, Charles Ed Caudill, Jerry Lee Caudill and James Allen Caudill.

Surviving are her husband of 63 years, Dan R. Caudill; three sons, Danny Ray Caudill of Whitesburg, Sammy K. Caudill of Red Star, and Jerry R. Caudill of Letcher; two daughters, Deborah June Back of Elk Creek and Diana L. Hurt of Lotts Creek; three sisters, Nina Caudill of Letcher, Janice Mitchell of Red Star, and Dorothy Trackwell of Indianapolis, Ind.; a half-sister, Petty Watts of Indianapolis, Ind.; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Letcher Funeral Home of Whitesburg had charge of the arrangements.
