Fireworks can be seen in three diff erent towns on Saturday.
A fireworks display will begin at dark on July 3 at the Isom Fairgrounds. A bike show will begin at 4 p.m., followed by the Pure and Simple Band performing at 6 p.m. A magic show featuring Dave Vaughn from Bristol, Tenn., will follow the concert. All events are free to the public and are sponsored by the Isom Days Committee.
The City of Whitesburg’s Independence Day festivities at the River Park in Whitesburg begin at 1 p.m. on July 3 with horseshoes, cornhole, inflatables and food booths.
Local bands will play all day with Goose Creek Symphony headlining the event at 8 p.m. A fireworks show will start after Goose Creek Symphony concludes its performance.
The City of Neon will hold a Fourth of July celebration in downtown Neon beginning at 2 p.m. on July 3. The event will include live music, games for children, and fireworks at dark. Concessions will be available. The band “State of Mind” will be on stage at 7:30 p.m.
Fireworks are sponsored by the City of Neon, Neon Volunteer Fire Department, American Legion Post 104 and the Neon Days Committee.
