On July 2, the Niece and Hatton family took a vacation by Amtrak train from Huntington, W.Va., to New York City and toured the city and visited the World Trade Center Memorial (ground zero), Statue of Liberty and several sites there.

The group boarded a Carnival cruise ship, supposedly going to New England and St. John, Canada until it was diverted to Bermuda because of Hurricane Arthur coming up the East Coast. No one complained of the change from Canada to Bermuda for four days and nights. The family then sailed back to New York for two more days before boarding the Amtrak train back to Huntington, W.Va.

Everyone had a great time!
