Noah Caudill attends his own baby shower

Congratulations to Angel Jent and Dustin Caudill of Carbon Glow on the birth of their first baby. Noah Wayne Caudill was born on June 9. He weighed 6 pounds, 9 ounces and was 19 1/2 inches long. He is the grandson of Floyd and Wanda Jent of Woodrock, Jodi Fugate of Carbon Glow, and Kim Caudill of Indiana. Her shower was planned for June 14 at the Bull Creek Church so Noah was at his shower. He was due June 28.

Happy birthday to Craig Frazier of Raytown, Mo. It was on June 8. He is the son of Ann Frazier of Knott County.

Get well wishes to Sylvania Whitaker of Blair Branch. She had a stroke and is in the hospital. Her daughter, Opal Jent, said she was having mini strokes.

Happy birthday to Mary Sue Pineyard of Jeremiah. It is on June 19.

Lauren Adams of Jeremiah, I’m glad to say, is doing a lot better. Her breathing tube is out and she got to come home finally. She is getting better every day. She had been in the University of Kentucky Hospital for well over two weeks. Leslie said she has to go to have therapy in Pikeville two days a week. She also has a lot of medicine she has to take and it will take some time for her heart to heal. We are all so glad she is home now. She is the daughter of Leslie Gibson and Dustin Adams. They wanted to thank Nina, who owns County Line Video. She took up donations for them and they really appreciate all she did for them.

Happy birthday to my sisterin law, Mary Ann Morgan of Isom. It’s on June 20.

Happy birthday to Jamie Johnson of Whitesburg. It’s on June 20.

Bill and Joan Johnson of Woodrock, and their grandson, Oakley Fugate of Carbon Glow, left for Maryland on Friday. They went to visit with Joan’s mother.

Happy birthday to Takoa Henrikson of Carcassonne. She will be 7 on June 25. She is the daughter of Jonny and Karen and has a younger sister, Taylor, and a new baby brother, Jackson. She is having a High School Musical party at the Carcassonne Community Center.

Happy birthday to Mark Nichols of Doty Creek. It’s on June 26.

Jon and Loretta Henrikson and Mae Fugate, all of Carcassonne, went to Tennessee a few weeks ago and spent a couple of days with Mae’s daughter, Wanda Howie, and her husband, Sam.

Lenore Dixon of Blackey, has cancer and is not doing too well. Her family and friends are staying with her as much as possible. All our prayers are with her and her family.
