NRCS seeks input on assistance





The USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) is seeking local input on the Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP), which it administers.

EQIP provides technical and financial (cost-share) assistance to land users to address concerns on natural resources.

A meeting for the area consisting of Breathitt, Perry, Knott, Letcher, Owsley, Wolfe, Powell, and Lee counties will be held at 10 a.m., Nov. 19, at the University of Kentucky Robinson Substation Community Building. All interested persons are invited to attend.
