Odell Stewart, 84, died March 24 at her home at Jackhorn.
Born at Hemphill, she was a daughter of the late Arsley and Viola Johnson and the widow of Rush Stewart. She was the mother of the late Ross Stewart and Tamara Denise Phillips, and a sister of Maewood Johnson and Pandora Johnson.
She was a member of the Hemphill Church of Christ since 1952.
Surviving are four daughters, Melodye Hall, Conyers, Ga., Sue West, Hiawasee, Ga., Karen Naurett, Lexington, and Michelle McCullum, Covington, Ga.; three sons, Lonnie Stewart, Covington, Ga., Russ Stewart, Stockbridge, Ga., and Sam Stewart, Jackhorn; 17 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-greatgrandchildren; two sisters, Linda Johnson, Shelby Gap, and Dremia Osborne, Etty; and three brothers, Dewis Johnson, Lorain, Ohio, and Ricky Johnson and Doyle Johnson, both of Virgie.
Funeral services were held March 27 at the Hemphill Church of Christ. Burial was in the Hemphill Cemetery.
