Good morning to all. Hope your weather is better than we are having here. It’s cool and misting rain.
The groundhog may not see his shadow today unless the sun decides to make an appearance later. Oh, by the way, “Happy Groundhog Day.”
I just got home from a short hospital stay. I had to go to emergency room Sunday evening and between two and three in the morning was admitted to the coronary care unit.
I have an appointment with the family doctor this afternoon to get the good news. Northeast Ohio
I have a few birthday wishes to send out: my brother Samuel Chester Sergent had one Feb. 2. When we were all at home years ago we would send him out to see if he could see his shadow; my first cousin, Virginia (Sergent) Lapoli, Feb. 7; Denver Profitt, also a first cousin, on Feb. 13; my great-grandson Alex, Feb 14; my niece Lena Stallard and great- niece Heather Counts both on Feb. 15; Gladys Smith on Feb. 19; my niece Debbie (Sergent) Resor, Feb. 20; my daughter-in-law Carleta and Creighton Adams, Jerri Adams, Feb. 24; greatgrandson Tyler Wayne Aley on Feb. 25; and a leap year baby Jeremy Taylor, husband to granddaughter Catharine, on Feb. 29.
I’m sure I missed some and I wish all who celebrate this month a very special day and may you have many, many more.
I just got back from the doctor, and there’s not much to tell except I have a big, big heart and a few other small problems that I can handle.
Richard and Georgia called earlier and said they were bringing supper and will eat with us. We sure don’t have to worry about food. Someone is always calling wanting to bring something.
I talked to Catharine and she had to work evening shift, so I’m not sure what time she will be by.
I really hope you can make sense of this mess. I’m not thinking too well right now.
Wishing all a great week, with happy days and nights with only good dreams. Next week, same time, same place.
