Outstanding students honored

Outstanding students of Hazard Community and Technical College were honored May 7 during graduation at the John C. Combs Arena of Perry County Central High School. The President’s Award was presented to Christopher Michael Sanders of Russell Springs and Sherianne N. Robinson of Jackson.

For the Associate in Applied Science, the honorees are: Scott Jonathan Kelley of London, and Donald Edward Swisher of Whitesburg, General Occupational/ Technical Studies (with diploma in Electrical Technology).

Academic achievement awards were presented to: Computer Aided Drafting & Design/Surveying, Jennifer O. Thompson of JB Andrews Base; Computer & Information Technologies, Shawna Michelle Bates of Topmost and Donald Edward Swisher of Whitesburg; General Occupational/ Technical Studies (Electrical Technology); and Sydney Blair Back of Blackey, Nursing.
