Pat Conley Anderson Sr., 84, died November 4 at his home in Jenkins.
Born in Letcher County, he was a son of the late Henry and Rebecca Brewer Anderson, he was the widower of Mattie Lou Fugate Anderson, and the father of the late Betsey Fugate Anderson.
He was a brother of the late Pluma Jean Meade, Lois Tackett Jackson, Edward Anderson, Otis Anderson and Mayo Anderson.
He was a U.S. Army veterean and served in World War II, and was a honorary Kentucky Colonel. He was the only taxidermist in eastern Kentucky for many years.
Surviving are his wife, Nagatha Venters Anderson; a daughter, Nancy Jane Innes, Lexington; a son, Pat Conley Anderson Jr. and wife Bridget of Reston, Va.; two grandchildren, Katherine Anderson and Kristi Wright and husband Sheldon; two great-grandchildren, Kaleigh Wright and Alexa Wright; a sister, Doris Stallard of Jenkins; and a brother, Huey Anderson of Huntsville, Ala.
Funeral services were held November 6 at Carty Funeral Home in Jenkins. Burial was in Green Acres Cemetery.
