Paul Kiser, 83, was Letcher native



Funeral services for Paul Kiser, 83, of Jeffersonville, will be held today (Wednesday) in Mt. Sterling. Burial will be in Sponcil Cemetery. He died May 29.

Born in Letcher County to the late Emmit and Ada Tyree Kiser, he was a brother of the late Rex Kiser and Cora Lee Kiser.

He was a retired mechanic and a watch and clock repairman.

Surviving are his wife, Malvia Lee Adams Kiser; a son, Bill Paul Kiser and wife Sheila of Mt. Sterling; a grandson, Shane Kiser and wife Alicia; a granddaughter, Heather Kiser; two step-grandchildren, James and Jacob Williams; four sisters, Betty Fields of Tennessee, Judy Trent of Whitesburg, Pebble Fields of Ashland and Gaynell Hampton of Williamsburg; and six brothers, Owen Kiser of Salt Lick, Ray Kiser of Florida, A.C. Kiser of Tennessee, Don Kiser of Alabama, Randal Kiser of Indiana, and Jeff Kiser of Virginia.
